Wuthering Waves 3.3 is LIVE – Here’s Everything New!

Wuthering Waves Version 3.3, titled Reverbs From the End of Galaxies, is now live, and it has a nice chunk of new content. Kuro Games is using the update to kick off the game’s second anniversary in style, featuring two new Resonators, a brand new region, three new main quests, new weapons and cosmetics, quality of life improvements across PC and Mobile, collaboration event rewards, and the announcement of a global live concert tour.

Two New Resonators

Version 3.3 introduces two new playable Resonators for players to unlock and build around.

  • Hiyuki (Glacio): A member of the Special Response Force.
  • Denia (Fusion): A student from Startorch Academy.

Alongside the new Resonators, two new weapons have been added to the pool: Frostburn and Forged Dwarf Star. Players can also unlock a new outfit for Morney called Plush Dream, purchasable in the store for 1980 Lunites. After Version 3.3 ends, the Outfit will cost 2480 Lunites.

New Region: Dimmr Plains

Version 3.3 opens up the Dimmr Plains, a brand new area for players to explore. Details on the region’s biome and lore are still being discovered by the community, but some location names include the Solisia Landing, Sealed Fissure, Silent Crag, and Dimmr Deep.

For players looking for a combat challenge rather than exploration, Tactical Hologram: Sigillum has also been added as a new high-difficulty combat encounter to test your builds against.

Collaboration Event: Motorbike Liveries

One of the more unexpected additions in 3.3 is a collaboration event bringing Expedition Motorbike liveries inspired by other franchises into the Wuthering Waves universe. The partnership includes:

  • Angry Birds: Featuring Red, Chuck, and Bomb.
  • HAIKYU!!: Featuring Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio
  • Kaiju No. 8: Featuring Kauji No. 8 and Soshiro Hoshina
  • PRAGMATA: Featuring Hugh and Diana
  • Resident Evil: Featuring Leon and Ada
  • Riders Republic: Featuring the Riders Republic Keyart

It’s a pretty broad mixture of IPs, but it’s honestly what makes it charming. The motorbike liveries are cosmetic rewards tied to the collaboration event, giving players a way to carry a little bit of each franchise’s identity into the Wuthering Waves’ world.

Quality of Life and Performance Improvements

Version 3.3 is also a significant update on the technical side. Highlights include accessories for select Resonators that can be equipped and swapped, an expanded Expedition Motorbike with a new aerial mode and aerial tactics module, and interface refinements across the Resonators, Team, Data Bank, Guidebook, and Backpack menus. On the visual side, Anisotropic Filtering on PC brings sharper textures, and DLSS Super Resolution with DLAA support has been added for compatible hardware.

Mobile players are getting attention as well in the Quality of Life department, as proprietary frame generation for smoother play on mid-range devices, expanded resource cleanup options, and download improvements to reduce the minimum required install footprint have all been added. If you’ve been holding off on installing the game to your phone due to performance concerns or how much space the game took up, 3.3 gives you a new reason to give it another look.

A Global Concert Tour is Coming

Something you probably didn’t expect to happen is happening. Alongside the update itself, Kuro Games has announced To the New World, a global Wuthering Waves concert tour set to take place later this year. The tour kicks off in Shanghai before heading to Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, and Los Angeles. This concert aims to bring the game’s soundtrack to live audiences across Asia and North America. Additional details, including tour dates, will be announced via the game’s official X channel in the coming weeks.

For a game that’s built a strong reputation for its music, picking up a Hollywood Music in Media Award alongside multiple industry honors including The Game Awards 2025 Player’s Voice award, a live tour feels like a natural yet unexpected step. Maybe I just haven’t gotten used to gaming media doing concert tours, but it’s seemed like something that only recently started to pop up more frequently. It’s worth keeping an eye on the concert if any of those cities are near you though!
