Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Revealed: Worldwide Showcase on April 23

About a month ago, Ubisoft dropped a single teaser image alongside a message that made one thing clear: a Black Flag remake is happening, and the leaks were right.

Speculation around Assassin’s Creed is not new, but it’s worth repeating: “Nothing is true. Everything is permitted. Well, except in this case, some whispers have a little more wind in their sails. Keep your spyglass on the horizon. 🦜

This teaser was released after the community had been leaking and discussing a Black Flag remake for a while, with Ubisoft’s post essentially being a formal nod to everyone that it was real and is happening soon, even if some speculation in the past has been inaccurate.

Now that it’s fully official and Ubisoft has had some more time to prepare, they’ve confirmed a worldwide showcase event for April 23rd at 12 PM ET. We’ll finally get a proper look at what the “Resynced” subtitle actually means, whether that means a full remake, a remaster with added content, or something entirely new build on the foundation of this entry in the series long lasting legacy.

For those wanting to watch the announcement, currently described as “The iconic solo pirate adventure returns” you can do so on the official Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed YouTube channels. The video can also be seen embedded below:
