Every week, the Epic Games Store picks a new selection of games that players can claim to keep forever, entirely for free. This week’s offering is a unique one: The Stone of Madness, a real-time tactical stealth game set in an 18th-century Spanish Monastery by the visionaries over at The Game Kitchen. Be quick with claiming this game however, as this normally $30 USD title, originally released a year ago, will only be free to claim from now until April 23rd, 2026 at 11 AM ET.
Mobile Users Have Freebies Too!
If you don’t plan on playing The Stone of Madness but don’t wanna feel left out on the free goodies you can claim, don’t fear as the Epic Games mobile app does weekly freebies as well! This week Epic Games is allowing you to claim Broken Sword: Reforged on iOS and Android! Just like the PC giveaway above, you only have until April 23rd, 2026 at 11 AM ET to claim these games however before they rotate out with a new selection.

What’s Heading Your Way Next Week
While it’s currently unknown what the next mobile freebie will be, the next PC freebie, DOOMBLADE, is set to start April 23rd, 2026 at 11 AM ET and last until April 30th, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET. DOOMBLADE is described as a game where deep underground, Gloom Girl discovers DOOMBLADE, a sentient weapon hellbent on escape after eons in chains. Together, “Doom and Gloom” embark on a vengeful quest to unlock the powerful abilities and destroy the Dread Lords once and for all in this 2D Action Metroidvania.
