All Fortnite Rivals & Rockets Free Rewards (Havoc Car & Jackie Outfit)

Fortnite has been very generous recently, dropping a ton of free rewards back to back for other events on the island such as Save the World promotions for a Free Skin, Spray, and more! This time however, Epic Games will be hitting the streets with the new Rivals & Rockets event, available starting today, April 17th, until April 30th at 9 AM ET. By jumping into both Rocket League and Fortnite you’ll be able to earn yourself two new rewards that can both be used in Fortnite such as the Havoc Car Body and Dueling Dragons Jackie Outfit, so let’s dive into how you can unlock these!

Take the Wheel in Fortnite

In order to unlock the Havoc Car Body in Fortnite you will be required to do five of six newly dropped quests. These quests aren’t anything that crazy and can most likely be done within your first few matches on the island.

QuestReward
Visit 5 Different Named Locations5,000 Fortnite XP
Search 25 Chests or Ammo Boxes5,000 Fortnite XP
Eliminate 15 Opponents5,000 Fortnite XP
Travel 1,000 Meters in Vehicles5,000 Fortnite XP
Outlast 200 Players5,000 Fortnite XP
Reach 20 Players Remaining in 2 Different Matches5,000 Fortnite XP

After completing five of these quests you will automatically unlock the Havoc Car Body in your account, and because of cross-game ownership, unlocking the Havoc Car Body in Fortnite means it will also be available in your Rocket League garage!

Score Big in Rocket League

Rocket League is unique this time around as none of the rewards you get normally are really much of anything unless you’re a Fortnite player. By completing all four (potentially five) challenges available in Rocket League you will unlock the Dueling Dragons Jackie Outfit in Fortnite!

ChallengeReward
Hit The Ball 50 Times in Online Matches10,000 Rocket League XP
Get 5 Goals in Online Matches10,000 Rocket League XP
Get 15 Centers or Clears in Online Matches10,000 Rocket League XP
Play 5 Online Matches10,000 Rocket League XP
Win 5 Online Matches“Drippy” Rocket League Title

Something odd about these quests is how Epic Games described it in official releases, as they mention a set of challenges which don’t exist. Instead of “Get 15 Centers or Clears in Online Matches” official information states to “Get 5 saves or Epic saves in online matches”. Due to this mismatch we have decided to go with what the official game states the challenge is, however this could change as time goes on.

These free rewards seem great but there are some small road bumps with the launch, as players who have completed the quests already noticed they didn’t get the Havoc cars default decals at all or the wheels which come with the car, so we may see some alterations to the rewards in the future as time goes on. You can check the official Epic Games community post on this event to see potential updates or changes to what was announced.
